Ok. Got itWe are partnering with the Resource Alliance for the third year running as it brings the International Fundraising Congress Pop Ups to South Africa in 2020.
The IFC Pop Ups are back in South Africa in March.
We are partnering with the Resource Alliance for the third year running as it brings the International Fundraising Congress (IFC) Pop Ups to South Africa in 2020 – one-day events packed with inspiration from fundraisers all over the globe. The IFC staged its first IFC Pop Ups in 2017 in South Africa, reaching 350 changemakers in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban. This year, the IFC Pop Ups will be held in South Africa, Kenya, Uganda, Brazil, Argentina, Hong Kong, Australia, and New Zealand.
The Cape Town event took place on 6 March while the Johannesburg leg of the IFC Pop Ups is coming up on 18 March. With our Philanthropy Office playing a key role in being a catalyst for change in South Africa, we are proud to support this initiative and excited about the potential impact it can have through more effective fundraising.
Delegates will benefit from a fresh, new programme of fundraising inspiration and high-quality learning.
A key objective of the 2020 Pop Ups is to make worldclass knowledge about resource mobilisation accessible to changemakers. Presented in video format with a live Q&A on Skype, delegates will have the opportunity to learn from fundraising experts, and network with peers on how to apply the learnings locally.
The IFC Pop Ups are recommended for anyone involved in fundraising, whether through a non-governmental organisation, the social impact division of a business, an academic institution, a faith-based organisation or a social enterprise.
This year’s programme will cover a wide range of topics presented by local and international experts.
These include the following:
