At an event to launch the latest Nedbank Private Wealth Giving Report, this sentiment was confirmed.
It was hosted by guest master of ceremonies, Nozipho Mbanjwa, and the event had a diverse range of speakers and panellists. They included Marilize Lansdell, Head of Nedbank Wealth Management, South Africa; Noxolo Hlongwane, Head of Philanthropy, Nedbank Private Wealth; Professor Mamokgethi Phakeng, Vice-chancellor of the University of Cape Town; Bongiwe Mlangeni, Chief Executive Officer of the Social Justice Initiative; and Sarah Scarth, Global Programmes and Partnership Director at The Resource Alliance.

The research outcomes, as discussed at the event, bring donors and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) together, facilitate valuable discussions, and provide insights for non-profit organisations (NPOs) to learn about the giving patterns of high-net-worth individuals.
